Crystal of the week: Tiger's Eye

Crystal of the week: Tiger's Eye

Hello little gems and welcome to this week’s crystal of the week!

I hope it’s been a lovely week for you so far.

This week we are kicking off crystal of the week with a new day. It will now be held on Sundays.

So, to kick start off the new day, this week’s crystal is: Tiger’s eye

Tiger’s eye is found in large numbers in found in South Africa, but it can also come from Burma, Brazil, India, Western Australia and USA. This precious crystal is known as one of the most ancient talismans. It was first chosen by the Egyptians for the eyes in their deity statues to express divine vision. It was believed to provide ultimate protection from the sun and the earth. Ra, the sun god and Geb, god of the growing land.

Tiger’s eye has been known to link to the magical tiger, the king of beasts in Eastern mythology. Tiger’s eye was known to portray courage and use of power. This helped the Roman soldiers by allowing them to carry this stone to deflect weapons and help them to be courageous and brave during battles.

Now, Tiger’s eye is known as a natural healing stone to help balance your brain, so it can benefit those that are suffering from mental disease or with personality disorders.

Tiger’s eye is very unique as it may not be classified as a quart crystal. But it’s make-up is quartz with inclusions of fibres of gold asbestos and various other minerals bound up within the quartz. This is what gives the crystal it’s golden colouring.

This is why I do not recommend putting crystals in your water and drinking it.

Tiger’s eye, known as “the shapeshifter” is known to change the way you think. Helping you to be courageous and motivational, this will help you be successful at everything you do.

When tapping into this crystals energy, you will be able to access a connection with the most powerful crystal in the mineral kingdom. Tiger’s eye helps you to shift your perspective so you can see the pathway forward, even in times of fear. So, if you ever find yourself be doubtful, bring in the power of the Tigers eye crystal. You can do this by setting it with an intention. You can do this by thinking of the intention you’d like to set your Tigers eye with and then close your eyes and imagine white light flowing thorough your solar plexus chakra and into the crystal.

The most majestic thing about this crystal is that it gets its healing properties from the sun and the earth elements. This is why Tigers eye has such an amazing energetic and grounding vibration. When you harness the positive energy of the Tiger's eye healing properties, it will help and guide you to feeling centred and grounded. This helps to giving you the confidence and courage to go after your dreams.

Tiger’s eye is most commonly used for social change, activating, courage and protection. It’s iridescent brown and gold stripes are very unique from other crystal formations. It’s asbestos fibres are what makes this beautiful crystals shimmer a golden-brown. Tiger’s eye brings clear thinking and insight into your life helping you to boost your self-confidence for change.
